Fimeco's 10th anniversary

Fimecon celebrates 10 years on April 2, 2023.

Ten years ago, a colleague and I were considering starting our own design office in Varkaus Business Center. After a little research, the plan to start a company and grow it with small initial steps turned out to be sensible. Since its founding, Fimecon's mission has been to design reliable and customer-oriented machines and plants.

Passion stemming from values has united Fimecon's customers, employees, suppliers and influencers from the beginning. The same inner fire to do work in line with one's values has played a big part in building Fimecon's team and collaboration network. During my more than nine-year journey at Fimecon, I have finally understood that it is worth directing your energy towards those things that produce meaning and good for those around you.

This spring we celebrate Fimecon's 10-year journey. During this time, the world has changed. Spring 2020 went down in history as the pandemic spring, and in February 2022, our thoughts were taken over by new images of threats. War and armed conflicts came closer to us than ever before in the lifetime of this generation. In the midst of all this, reliability has become a lifeline, a requirement and an added value. We want to celebrate the birthday spring by thanking the people who have been part of Fimecon's story in different ways. Fimecon's basic principle has always been to look brightly towards the future, but now it is time to look back on Fimecon's bubbling and eventful decade.
