Thoughts on job hunting
Less than a month ago, when the summer vacation season was just getting underway, I wrote a post on Linkedin. In my post, I discussed how difficult it is to find new employees.
The popularity of my article was a positive surprise, and I received numerous contacts and many good comments offering help with our problem. Thank you to everyone who participated in the discussion!
Now that the summer holidays are over (at least for me) it's time to get back to work on finding new employees. We will try to be more visible on various forums and tell about ourselves, for example in the form of a blog on our newly renovated website.
It has often been said that potential applicants don't know enough about the company, what they do there, and what it's like to work there. But is a small company a safe option when looking for a new job?
We do not require that the applicant be young with 20 years of work experience, everyone is certainly able to influence the content of their own work and the job description is certainly more diverse than in a large organization. Our salary and employment benefits are certainly competitive, and we are not the first to send someone on vacation if there is no new information immediately after the assignment. Only well-being and motivated employees make satisfied customers possible. So why wouldn't you work for us?
